Books - Series Description

Kentucky Voices

Kentucky Voices is an exciting series of new and classic fiction designed to showcase the very best of the Commonwealth's rich literary traditions and the work of new and established writers. The University Press of Kentucky is proud to publish a limited number of volumes of both classic and contemporary works that illustrate the creative expression of those associated with Kentucky. As it is an integral part of our mission to preserve and disseminate the literature and letters of Kentucky, the Press has reissued classic works, such as Ed McClanahan's Famous People I Have Known, and original offerings, the first of which was Miss America Kissed Caleb, by Catlettsburg's Billy C. Clark. An editorial advisory board composed of some of Kentucky's finest writers guides the series' selections.
