Folklife of the Upper South

Series Editor: Michael Ann Williams, Director of Folk Studies, Western Kentucky University

Folklife of the Upper South will examine the folklife, noth comtemporary and historical of southern Appalachia and the broader region of the upland South. The books will be written by scholars of the region, but will be aimed at a general, as well as academic, audience. The intent is to present fresh, contemporary examinations of the history and culture of the Upper South.
