Women in Southern Culture
Books in this series examine the experiences of women
across the full range of southern history, with special
attention to the influence of race, ethnicity, and class.
In addition to individual biographies, the series
includes intensive studies of particular groups during
different eras in the region's past. Though its focus is
historical, this interdisciplinary series encompasses
literary, sociological, and other approaches to the lives
of southern women.
