Dr. Eric R. Jackson, author of An Introduction to Black Studies, will be giving a lecture at the Filson Historical Society! An author reception will be held at 5PM for guests to mingle and meet Dr. Jackson; his official lecture will begin at 6PM in one of the lecture rooms (it will also be streamed live). Dr. Jackson will speak for around 45-50 minutes and then answer audience questions for another 10-15 minutes.
Recent Filson events have regularly been reaching capacity, so be sure to register beforehand at this link! Walk-ups on the day of the lecture may not be guaranteed space.
