Voice & Vision: Presented by Spalding University’s Naslund-Mann Graduate School of Writing, The Louisville Review & 21c Museum Hotel will feature four notable writers and poets for the season finale of the popular annual summer reading series. The program will celebrate regional authors who have recently published books plus fabulous art. It will take place on Thursday, August 17, 2023, from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. at 21c Museum Hotel, 700 West Main St., in downtown Louisville.

The August program features writers Willie Edward Taylor Carver Jr., Kathleen Driskell, Erin Keane, and Sarah Anne Strickley. Hosted by Amy Foos Kapoor, Flora K. Schildknecht, and Katy Yocom.

The evening will begin with an art talk from 21c’s Museum Manager Hunter Kissel who will speak about an assortment of portraits on exhibit including “Fragile Figures: Beings and Time.”

This year marks the tenth season for this wonderful series which celebrates the interrelatedness of the area’s vibrant literary and visual arts community. We hope you’ll join us for this lively and free event which is open to the public, plus there will be complimentary light snacks and beverages.
