Topics in Kentucky History

Topics in Kentucky History publishes works on the wide range of important subjects connected to the commonwealth, and ones with larger regional and national impact as well. Though the focus is historical, the interdisciplinary nature of the series encompasses other approaches to the study of the state. The goal is to publish both new authors and established ones, all using different methods to tell significant stories, whether studying virtually untouched subjects, looking at old questions in new ways, or offering fresh insights to familiar accounts. In the end, Topics in Kentucky History seeks to expand historical knowledge so that we know much more about our state, our nation, our world, and ourselves.
